PH Stefanuto, selected on the 2025 power list

Dr PH Stefanuto, lead scientist and senior lecturer at the Organic and Biological Analytical Chemistry Group (OBiAChem) in the Molecular System research unit has been selected for the Power List by the journal The Analytical Scientist. 

This year, the power listers were challenged to address pivotal questions. Dr Stefanuto addressed the fundament question for analytical scientist - What is the point of analytical science? 

Here is an small peek to his answer: "as analytical scientists, our guiding principle is trust ... – trust in its accuracy, reliability, and significance." This trust is more than just method related. It is also the trust that we have in ourself, in our team, in our society. Today, in a challenging world, being able to trust an information is difficult and we have to demonstrate resilience to continue to pursue the truth. 

After being selected, in the 40 under 40 more influential analytical scientist, Dr Stefanuto demonstrates again the excellence of Liège University in the field analytical chemistry.
